Any coin converts to any of the 170+ fiat currencies or to another coin, so BTC to ETH and SOL to Japanese yen work the same way as BTC to USD.

How crypto prices are updated

Our rate server collects crypto prices from exchange feeds. The app fetches them along with fiat rates every 4 hours while you're online, and the refresh button gets the latest set on demand.

Crypto moves much faster than most currencies, so look at the fetch time on the rate line before you rely on a number. The converter is for checking values. Before you trade, use your exchange's live price.

When an offline crypto converter helps

  • You're abroad without data and want to know what a holding is worth in the local currency.
  • Someone quotes a price in ETH or SOL and you want it in dollars or euros.
  • You want to check an exchange's or a payment app's quote against a neutral reference.

Getting crypto in the app

Crypto needs Premium, which you can buy as a monthly subscription or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Premium also unlocks every fiat currency, search, favorites and conversion history, and removes the banner ad.

Are the crypto prices live?

No. They're the prices saved at the last refresh, which happens every 4 hours while you're online or when you tap refresh. The rate line shows the time. Check your exchange for a live price before you trade.

Is the crypto converter free?

Crypto is part of Premium, together with the full currency list and history. Premium is a monthly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase, priced by the App Store or Google Play in your currency.
